Direct AI coding agents to build full-stack products at Remitly, working onsite Tuesday through Thursday under its hybrid expectations.
As an AI Native Software Engineer II, you build applications and basic agents instead of writing code directly. Translate customer needs into specifications, orchestrate AI coding agents, and ship solutions end-to-end. Your work spans frontend, backend, data, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:- Build applications, workflow automations, and basic agents
- Translate customer needs into specifications and deployed solutions
- Instrument products to track usage and outcomes
- Evaluate AI output for security, privacy, reliability, and quality
- Document prompts, approaches, and reusable team patterns
- Proficiency with AI coding agents
- Ability to write and refine effective prompts
- Understanding of frontend, backend, data, and infrastructure
- Familiarity with applications, APIs, databases, and queues
- Ability to interpret usage, conversion, and error metrics
