Shifts vary from 7.5-hour to 16-hour, starting as early as 6:30am and ending as late as 10:30pm.
Location:
Central Burnaby yard base, driving in Downtown Vancouver.
Wages: $22.50-$23.50 per hour + daily overtime. Potential earnings $25-26 per hour or more, plus gratuities, service incentives, and 4% vacation pay.
Extended health benefits offered for full‑time employed drivers – company pays ½ if you opt in.
We operate Vancouver’s Double Decker Hop‑On Hop‑Off tours, as well as guided tours to Downtown Vancouver, Whistler, Victoria, and the North Shore.

Your Work Will Include- Driving a 20‑54 passenger coach bus safely to Vancouver, North Shore, Victoria, Squamish and Whistler.
- Providing clear, live, engaging commentary in English while driving safely.
- Picking up and dropping off guests from their hotel and ensuring guests are on the passenger manifest.
- Ensuring proper guest count at the beginning, during, and end of the tour.
- Filling out attraction vouchers with correct guest count.
- Driving safely and efficiently to keep on schedule.
- Providing exceptional service for our guests.
- Performing daily pre‑ and post‑trip inspections for bus safety, compliance, and cleanliness.
- Reporting any defects on the Vehicle Defect Card.
- Communicating effectively and professionally over radio/phone.
- Coordinating with Dispatch Tour Operations to ensure smooth operations, guest safety and satisfaction.
- Adapting quickly and efficiently to changing traffic patterns, street closures or detours.
- Being flexible with last‑minute changes and requests.
- Lifting luggage up to 50 lbs.
- Being warm, friendly, and welcoming to all guests and team members.
- Handling guest queries and concerns professionally.
- Promoting partner attractions and online reviews.
- Excellent communication skills and comfortable speaking while driving.
- Valid BC commercial driver’s licence:
Class 1 or Class 2 with air‑brake endorsement; clean driver abstract. - At least 3 years of driving experience in Vancouver.
- Confidence driving a bus in downtown Vancouver and familiar with the streets.
- Friendly and outgoing personality.
- Prior tour‑guiding experience is an asset.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Flexibility to accommodate a changing schedule; available to work any day of the week, with shift lengths of 8‑16 hours.
- Availability to work a full‑time schedule over the peak summer touring months.
- Working knowledge of standard radio 10‑codes.
- Previous experience in a guest service role.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Can lift luggage up to 50 lbs.
- Organised and quick learner.
- Can work independently with minimum direction and as part of a team.
- Fluent in English, spoken and written; ability to speak a second language a bonus.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Class 4 unrestricted licence and interest in obtaining a Class 2 licence with air‑brakes; training and licensing costs covered for the right candidate.
