Rail Operations Conductor Position

Join BWRS as a Conductor, responsible for safely moving railcars and collaborating with the Operations team. This role emphasizes customer service, effective communication, and adherence to safety protocols.
As a Conductor, you will operate within a strong team environment, contributing to safe operations through movements and communications. You'll engage with customers and partners while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Your role will involve observing signals, operating track switches, and coupling or uncoupling railcars.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely move railcars during various operations
• Communicate with customers and crew professionally
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and regulations
• Apply hand brakes on inactive railcars
• Operate necessary track switches as required
Requirements:
• Minimum grade 12 diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous experience as a Conductor
• Good physical condition for the job
• Valid BC driver's license, Class 5 minimum
• Commitment to operational reliability and customer service
