Class 3 Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 3 Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials to various locations. This role requires strong driving skills, physical endurance, and adherence to safety regulations to ensure timely deliveries and maintain the company's reputation for excellent service.

• Safely operate Class 3 commercial vehicles, including trucks and vans, in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies
• Load and unload cargo, often involving heavy lifting, ensuring items are secured properly for transit
• Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet schedule deadlines
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any maintenance or safety issues
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues
• Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents or damage during transportation
• Ability to deliver in the Lower Mainland as well as Victoria

• Valid Class 3 driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience driving commercial vehicles, with a focus on safety and reliability
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes
• Strong driving skills with knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
• Excellent time management skills to ensure punctual deliveries
• Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and manual handling tasks
• Positive communication skills for coordination with team members and clients
