Drive for Fed Ex, transporting freight efficiently between locations. This part-time shuttle driver role runs Monday to Friday from 3 PM to 8 PM, offering a competitive rate of 21.74 CAD per hour.
As a Shuttle Driver at Fed Ex, you will load, unload, and sort freight, ensuring smooth transportation within the facilities. A valid Class 5/Class G license with a clean driving record is mandatory. Additionally, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lift substantial weights are essential to excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Load and unload freight promptly within the facility
• Scan and sort freight accurately for transport
• Drive to transport freight between various facilities
• Maintain a good driving record while adhering to safety protocols
• Complete required training and maintain annual accreditations
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent needed
• Valid Class 5/Class G driver's license required
• Good driving history according to company standards
• Ability to lift 70 lbs; packages up to 150 lbs
• Knowledge of Fed Ex operations is an asset
