Class 3 Driver

As a Class B CDL Driver at United Rentals, your goal will be to deliver equipment to our customers in a safe, timely, efficient and courteous manner. You will serve as a company ambassador by frequently interacting with our customers and providing exceptional customer service. You will work in a local environment, returning home each night.

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate heavy equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers (“rollbacks” or “dove tails”) in accordance with DOT classification CDL-B.
• Adhere to all safety requirements, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest equipment and supplies to meet customers’ other needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Valid Class B CDL with an acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT-regulated Commercial Driving Experience.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Diligent attention to safety.
