As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to support our supply chain and distribution operations.
This role is ideal for an organized and proactive individual with a strong interest in food and beverage operations and warehouse management. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient inventory control, timely distribution to retail locations, and the smooth day‑to‑day operation of our warehouse. Job Duties- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the daily activities of warehouse staff involved in receiving, storing, picking, packing, and distributing bubble tea ingredients, packaging materials, and store supplies to our locations across Metro Vancouver.
- Establish and enforce work schedules, task assignments, and productivity targets to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of store orders in support of ongoing business expansion.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and oversee inventory rotation to ensure freshness, quality control and compliance with food safety standards applicable to beverage ingredients.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including receiving shipments from suppliers, preparing distribution orders for retail locations, and liaising with third‑party delivery providers when applicable.
- Train, coach, and evaluate warehouse staff on proper handling procedures, workplace safety practices, sanitation requirements, and company operational standards.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, company policies, and food safety requirements, and take corrective action when issues are identified.
- Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and records, including inventory reports, shipment logs, loss or damage reports, and staff attendance records.
- Resolve operational issues such as shipment discrepancies, damaged goods, staffing shortages, or workflow inefficiencies, and elevate complex matters to management as required.
- Coordinate with store managers, operations teams, and head office to align warehouse operations with promotional activities, new product launches, and seasonal demand fluctuations.
- 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Completion of a post‑secondary degree in a relevant field is an asset.
- Must be able to read and perform basic math skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 kg in a safe manner.
- Must have effective communication skills and can work in a team setting.
