We act as a manufacturer’s sales representative in the Province of B.C. and Yukon Territory and are an important source of market-related information for key brands.

Responsibilities &

Qualifications:

Ship, receive, and record the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment, and stock to and from our business.

Determine method of shipment, arrange shipping, prepare bills of lading, record serial numbers, customs forms, invoices, and other shipping documents manually or by computer.

Email order confirmations and packing slips to our customer purchasers.

Provide excellent customer service by phone and in person.

Give customers basic information on products (on-hand stock levels and pricing).

Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or by computer, pack product to be shipped, and affix identifying information and shipping instructions.

Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents and record shortages.

Unpack and route goods to appropriate storage areas.

Unload trucks, operate forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.

Organize and pick orders to be shipped by freight or courier companies.

Assist with call-in orders.

Process shipments, print waybills and labels for attaching to product.

File copies of packing slips in records.

Order shipping supplies and stock from factories as required for warehouse.

Work with the Sales Representatives to process orders in a timely manner.

Take phone messages from customers when other staff is preoccupied.

Assist with inventory counts.

Ability to lift weights of up to 50 lbs.

Perform general housekeeping tasks within the shipping & receiving area.

Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.

Good attention to details, able to follow policies/procedures, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to the safety of self and others.

Standard math and basic computer skills.

Sound judgment and decision-making ability.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $24.00

CAD per hour

Experience:

Experience in the warehouse, shipping, and receiving administration is preferred but not mandatory.

Forklift training and certification will be given to candidate.
