Novarc Technologies is looking for a skilled and experienced Warehouse Associate to join our growing team and support the production of our cobots.
Role
Summary:
In this dual role, you'll be responsible for efficiently picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment or internal developments (R&D), as well as performing various supply chain duties to ensure smooth and accurate operations. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, detail-oriented, and a good communicator with a go-getter attitude. This junior position is perfect for a high school or post secondary graduate who is looking to grow their career in Supply Chain or Warehouse Management as there will be plenty of opportunities to learn different facets of the supply chain.
- Order Fulfillment:
Accurately pull, pick, pack and organize items from inventory shelves based on a work order or digital pick list. Visually check products to ensure they are free of damages. - Receiving:
Load and unload trucks, receive incoming packages and verify goods against packing lists, report any visual damage, stock products in designated locations, and prepare outgoing shipments. - Inventory Management:
Maintain inventory accuracy in the ERP by tracking inventory movement, update bin locations, execute daily cycle counts and reconciliation activities to ensure inventory accuracy and controls are being followed. - Support Production:
Re-stock production stations (KANBAN items) and report any inventory shortages, discrepancies or obsoleted materials. Prepare picking bins and updating inventory on production assembly stations. - Equipment Operation:
Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklift. Will hold a forklift certificate and operate a forklift as required. - Maintenance & Safety:
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures (5S practices). - Communication:
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence via email, Slack, and Wrike - Reverse Supply Chain:
Assist with processing Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) by issuing replacement materials to production to maintain smooth operations. Opportunities to communicate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s) with the supplier and return, replace, or scrap any damaged materials. - Perform other supply chain duties as assigned by the Director of Supply Chain.
- At least 1+ year of experience in a Picker role or similar.
- High-school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A self-starter who takes ownership of their work and is able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, organized, and reliable team player.
- Must be physically able to perform duties, including squatting, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting, and standing/walking for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with provided equipment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets).
- Experience with inventory or procurement systems like Net Suite ERP.
- Experience with Wrike or Arena PLM is a bonus.
