Hours:

Full‑time, Monday to Friday (45 hours per week), with participation in a call‑out rota

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated HGV Jet Vac Operative to join our growing drainage team based in Highbridge. You’ll be operating specialist Class 2 HGV jetting vehicles to clean and maintain sewer systems, culverts, and outfalls across the Southwest. This hands‑on, mobile role is perfect for those who enjoy practical work, working outdoors, and delivering essential environmental services.

• Safely operate Class 2 HGV Jet Vac units on highways and client sites
• Use high‑pressure water jetting equipment to clear drains and sewers
• Inspect, identify and resolve drainage blockages
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance tasks
• Support emergency and reactive works as part of a 24/7 response service
• Maintain accurate job records and follow company safety protocols
• Work flexibly and independently across a range of sites and conditions

• Full UK driving licence with Category C (Class
  2)
• Valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph
• A safety‑first mindset and good attention to detail
• Physically fit and able to work in all weathers
• Flexible to work overtime and take part in a call‑out rota
• Comfortable working in and around wastewater environments

• CSCS Card
• High‑Pressure Water Jetting Certificate
• Confined Space Entry (Medium or High Risk)
• Streetworks (NRSWA) qualification
• Experience in drainage, utilities or highways
