Welder Fabricator

Abatec are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join a skilled manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong fabrication and welding skills looking for stable, long-term employment with development opportunities.

As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be integral to our metal fabrication team, responsible for shaping and assembling metal components to meet project specifications. Reporting to the Fabrication Supervisor, your core skills in hand tools, welding, and sheet metal work will be essential in producing high-quality products. Your premium skills in welding and location-specific welding techniques will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Additionally, your mechanical knowledge and basic math skills will support accurate measurements and assembly, ensuring that our projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

• Proven experience in metal fabrication and welding (essential)
• Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Reliable, positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Competitive starting rate from £14.00 per hour (flexible depending on experience)
• Early finish every Friday
