Warehouse Operative

Responsibilities

• Handling Goods with Care:
  Use the warehouse management system (WMS) and Zebra scanning equipment to accurately receive, locate, pick, and dispatch stock.
• Stock Movement:
  Load and unload orders, ensuring goods are moved to the correct locations safely and efficiently.
• FLT & MHE Operation:
  Operate Forklift Trucks (FLT), Pivot/Articulated trucks, and PPTs as required to support daily warehouse operations.
• Inventory Support:
  Replenish, consolidate, and rotate stock to maintain accurate inventory levels and smooth workflow.
• Clean & Organised Workspace:
  Maintain a tidy, safe working environment following "clean as you go" standards.
• Process Compliance:
  Complete all paperwork accurately and report any issues or defects in line with warehouse procedures.
• Systems & Admin:
  Use Excel and other digital tools to support basic reporting, stock checks, and operational tasks.

• A Pivot / Ride-on PPT licence is a bonus - but if you don't have one, we'll provide full training.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Competitive Salary: £26,426.40 pa! Overtime available!

Hours:

08:00am to 20:00pm, based on 4on 4off rota!
