The Team at OHanlon & Farrell Contracts Ltd have promoted the company to one of Northern Irelands long established Electrical & Building Contractors with over 40 years of valuable experience within numerous sectors, including the Industrial, Commercial and Domestic Construction sectors, throughout Ireland & UK. OHanlon & Farrell is seeking to recruit a highly organised, reliable and detail-focused Office and Finance Administrator to support the day-to-day running of the business based in our Newry office & reporting directly to the Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Administration:
Manage reception, telephone calls, correspondence, office supplies, visitors and general administration. Fleet Management:
Maintain fleet records and coordinate servicing, repairs, MOTs, insurance and other vehicle requirements. Travel Management:
Organise business travel, including flights, accommodation, car hire and itineraries. Accounts Payable:
Process purchase invoices, maintain supplier records and deal with supplier queries. Bank Reconciliations:
Complete regular bank and credit card reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies. Expenses:
Process and reconcile employee expenses, ensuring appropriate supporting documentation is provided. Finance Administration:
Provide general support to the finance function, including month-end processes and maintaining accurate financial records. General Support:
Provide administrative support across the business and assist with ad hoc tasks and projects as required. Essential
Experience:
Previous experience in a varied office administration, finance administration or accounts support role.
Experience of accounts payable/purchase ledger, including processing invoices.
Experience of bank reconciliations and/or credit card reconciliations. Experience processing employee expenses. Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook. Excellent organisational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience dealing professionally with customers, suppliers and colleagues. Ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines. A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and use initiative.
A full, clean driving licence would be desirable due to the fleet management responsibilities. What youll Receive (Benefits):
