JOB DESCRIPTION:
(Vehicle Technician/Commercial Vehicle/Automotive) You'll be at the heart of our operation, ensuring our buses remain roadworthy, dependable and ready to keep communities moving. What you'll be doing:
· As a key member of our engineering team, you'll help keep our fleet safe, reliable and ready for service by:
· Diagnosing and rectifying vehicle faults
· Carrying out routine servicing and 28-day inspections
· Completing vehicle repairs and maintenance work
· Supporting MOT preparation in line with DVSA Guide to Road worthiness standards and procedures
· Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship at all times
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
(Vehicle Technician/Commercial Vehicle/Automotive) We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and is passionate about keeping vehicles operating safely and efficiently. You'll ideally have:
· A Level 3 NVQ qualification (or equivalent City & Guilds qualifications)
· A full driving licence
· A flexible approach to working hours
· Experience working on buses or coaches (desirable but not essential)
· A PCV licence, or the willingness and ability to obtain one THE COMPANY:
