Position

Band C Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry. 0.6 WTE / 22.5 hours per week over 3 days.

Band C: LD21 £ 101,434‑£116,573 pro rata, commensurate with experience and previous NHS SPCDS employment.

An exciting opportunity to join Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust Dental Services. The post is within the Specialist Dental Service and is based in East Lancashire sites providing paediatric dental services, including sedation in community settings and paediatric exodontia and comprehensive care in theatre under general anaesthesia.

This role is supported by a strong Managed Clinical Network in Paediatric Dentistry.

• Provide routine and urgent paediatric dental services to patients referred to the LSCFT Specialist Led Paediatric Dental Service.
• Provide conscious sedation.
• Lead on the provision of treatment under GA.
• Support the clinical triage of referrals.
• Provide leadership and management support for the dental team.

A post‑registration qualification is mandatory and inclusion on the Paediatric Specialist General Dental Council Register is required.

Full GDC registration and paediatric specialist registration without restriction, on or eligible for immediate inclusion on the Performers list.
