We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children aged 7–11, helping them to achieve their full potential in a positive and engaging learning environment.

KS2 Teaching Assistant

Location: Padiham
Contract Type: Full-time
Salary: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour
Start Date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and activities.
  • Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning and provide targeted support.
  • Assist in the preparation of classroom resources and maintain a stimulating learning environment.
  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil engagement.
  • Contribute to the overall well-being and development of pupils.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience working with children in a school setting (KS2 experience desirable).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively gum a team.
  • A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant) are advantageous.
