About the Role
Justteachers is seeking a History Teacher who is looking for a long‑term role, in a Secondary school in the Burnley area on a full‑time basis. The role is set to commence from September 2026 – with the school shortlisting as soon as possible with the potential of the candidate becoming permanent after a qualifying period.

Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging History lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils
- Mark work, track progress and provide timely feedback
- Develop resources and schemes of work with the department
- Maintain strong behaviour management
- Support pupils in developing analytical and written skills
- QTS with History or Humanities‑related degree
- Proven UK school teaching experience across KS3–KS4
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging curriculum content
- Strong behaviour and classroom management
