Summary

The Headteacher and Governors of Bradley Primary School are delighted to invite applications for the position of Cleaner to join our dedicated and supportive staff team.

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic individual who takes pride in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff and visitors. As a valued member of our team, you will play an important role in ensuring our school is a place where children can learn, grow, and thrive in a well‑maintained setting.

The successful applicant will be able to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a positive attitude, good attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the school.

Hours of work

10 hours per week Monday to Friday 3:15 pm – 5:15 pm.

This is a permanent position with a probation period of three months, working term‑time plus additional hours during the school holidays (which may be blocked over two weeks). These additional weeks will usually be during the holidays, although the timing may vary to meet the operational needs of the school.

We are committed to child protection and safeguarding and the successful candidate will need to apply for clearance from the Disclosure Barring Service for an Enhanced DBS. The candidate will also receive safeguarding training to ensure the welfare of all pupils.
