Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for helping children develop their reading skills?
We're looking for a dedicated Phonics Intervention Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Burnley on a part-time basis
.
- Delivering Read Write Inc. phonics interventions and booster sessions.
- Supporting pupils across EYFS to KS2 with targeted literacy interventions.
- Working with individuals and small groups to help children make excellent progress.
- Collaborating with class teachers to support pupils' learning and development.
- Previous experience working in primary schools is essential.
- Experience delivering Read Write Inc. phonics sessions is essential.
- Confident supporting children with phonics interventions and literacy boosters.
- A positive, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting children's learning.
- A friendly and supportive working environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
