SEND Teaching Assistant – Mainstream School (Burnley)
justteachers is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a SEND provision at a welcoming mainstream school in Burnley
. This is a full-time, long-term role starting September
, offering a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference.

September - Based in Burnley
- SEND provision within a mainstream school
- Competitive pay
- Support pupils with special educational needs in a specialist provision
- Provide 1:1 and small group support
- Assist with tailored learning activities and interventions
- Support behavioural, social, and emotional development
- Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and support staff
- Experience working with SEND pupils (e.g. ASD, SEMH, or similar)
- Caring, patient, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain)
