Estimator, Engineering, Manufacturing Engineer

Estimator (Engineering / Manufacturing) – Burnley

Our client manufactures engineered plastic components in their factory in Burnley. The business is currently expanding and has a vacancy for an Engineering Estimator. The business manufactures precision components for sectors including FMCG processing machinery, transport systems and bottling/canning processes.

Working Hours: 40 Hours per Week Monday to Friday – 14:30 Finish on Friday

This role would suit an experienced estimator with experience in an engineering / manufacturing company. Experience with plastics would be strongly preferred. The successful candidate will ideally have an engineering background with a strong working knowledge of engineering processes and capabilities.

• Generating costs and quotations
• Reviewing engineering / technical drawings and specifications
• Customer Liaison & discussion
• Identification of manufacturing of costs
• Administering of quote to sales order process

• Experience in an estimating role
• Experience with in engineering / manufacturing
• Ideally experience with plastics
