Sales Estimator

ST TALENT are working with an established engineering and manufacturing business based in the Burnley area to recruit a Sales Estimator to join its growing commercial team. This Sales Estimator role would suit someone with experience in technical sales, internal sales, estimating, quotations, or engineering customer support within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

The successful Sales Estimator will support customer enquiries, prepare quotations, review technical drawings, and work closely with engineering and production teams. This Sales Estimator opportunity offers long-term development within a busy engineering business and would suit someone looking to build a career within technical sales and estimating.

• Prepare customer quotations and cost estimates for engineering projects
• Review technical drawings and customer specifications
• Support internal sales activity and respond to customer enquiries
• Liaise with production and engineering teams regarding pricing and lead times
• Assist with sourcing materials and supplier pricing
• Maintain quotation records and customer information
• Build strong working relationships with customers and internal departments
• Support continuous improvement across sales and estimating processes

• Previous experience within technical sales, internal sales, estimating, or engineering support
• Ability to understand engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
• Engineering qualification , ideally Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Good attention to detail and commercial awareness
• Comfortable working within a fast-paced engineering environment
• Engineering or manufacturing background would be advantageous

• £35,000 - £45,000 + profit bonus scheme
