Ther Role:
As HR Advisor, youll provide a high-quality HR advisory service across a diverse group of businesses, working closely with HR Business Partners and the wider People team. Its a busy and varied position where priorities can change quickly, so youll need to be confident managing multiple cases, working independently and providing clear, commercially focused advice. Youll be responsible for:
Providing practical and legally compliant HR advice to managers across the organisation Managing a varied Employee Relations caseload, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and organisational change Building strong relationships with managers and colleagues across multiple sites Supporting HR Business Partners with wider people projects and organisational priorities Advising managers through organisational change and helping them understand the people implications Ensuring HR policies, employment legislation and regulatory requirements are consistently followed Identifying trends and opportunities to improve HR processes and people practices Contributing to change programmes and wider People initiatives Managing a high-volume workload while maintaining accuracy, professionalism and sound judgement Profile:
Were looking for an experienced HR professional who can hit the ground running and is comfortable operating in a busy, people-focused environment. Ideally, youll have:
Strong Employee Relations experience, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and organisational change CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent HR experience Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice Experience managing a high-volume and complex caseload Excellent communication and relationship-building skills The confidence to advise and influence managers at all levels Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands A proactive, solutions-focused approach Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office Resilience, professional credibility and sound judgement A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential, as the role involves regular travel across services in Lancashire and Greater Manchester.
