Evo Personnel are acting as an employment agency, and we are looking to recruit a Logistics Manager for our prestigious distribution & manufacturing client in the Burnley area.

• £45,000.00 - £50,000.00 DOE.
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
• Pension contribution.

• Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 17:30.
• Friday 08:00 - 12:30.
• 37.5 hours a week.
• 1 hour lunch break (flexible).

• Manage a team of Supervisors and Warehouse Operatives.
• Lead, guide and develop the team.
• Manage team performance and KPIs.
• Manage stock, materials, inventory, storage and dispatch.
• Work closely with production, procurement and sales departments.
• Support with projects.
• 5S and implement lean manufacturing to drive continuous improvement.
• Process documentation and administration.
• Ensure logistics department adheres to Health & Safety standards.
• Build a relationship and work closely with the selected recruitment agency.
• Manage the recruitment process in the warehouse.
• Induct and train new staff.
• Conduct review meetings with staff.
• Be hands‑on and support with operations.
• Experience using SAP and ERP systems.
• A strong understanding of IT.
• Exceptional organisation and communication skills.
• Previous experience in a fast‑paced distribution environment.
• Lead a team, support development, and build rapport to push the logistics department forward.
• Implement progressive ways of working to enhance efficiencies.
• Manage materials, inventory and the whole logistics process with continuous improvement focus.
• Hands‑on approach to meet deadlines.
• Process‑driven and people‑oriented to support growth in a forward‑thinking company.
