We’re recruiting a Senior NPD Technologist for a well-established and growing bakery business with a proud 40+ year heritage and exciting plans for the future.

This is a rare opportunity to work from a brand-new production site, collaborating closely with a small, experienced test kitchen team of three, and playing a key role across the full product lifecycle – from concept through to launch.

The business supplies a diverse customer base including coffee shops, QSR, food service operators, in-store bakeries within major supermarkets, alongside its own well-known heritage brand. Variety, pace and visibility are central to this role.

With a newly acquired site due to open soon and multiple projects underway behind the scenes, this is an ideal time to join a business investing heavily in innovation, capability and growth.

Key responsibilities:

* Lead and deliver NPD projects from concept to commercial launch

* Develop bakery products across multiple channels and formats

* Work closely with production, quality and commercial teams

* Support trials, scale-up and factory launches

* Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation pipelines

About you:

* Experienced NPD Technologist within bakery or food manufacturing

* Comfortable working end-to-end on product development

* Hands-on, collaborative and commercially aware

* Looking to take on a senior role with real impact in a growing business
