We're recruiting a Senior NPD Technologist for a well‑established and growing bakery business with a proud 40+ year heritage and exciting plans for the future.

This is a rare opportunity to work from a brand‑new production site, collaborating closely with a small, experienced test kitchen team of three, and playing a key role across the full product lifecycle - from concept through to launch.

The business supplies a diverse customer base including coffee shops, QSR, food service operators, in‑store bakeries within major supermarkets, alongside its own well‑known heritage brand. Variety, pace and visibility are central to this role.

With a newly acquired site due to open soon and multiple projects underway behind the scenes, this is an ideal time to join a business investing heavily in innovation, capability and growth.

• Lead and deliver NPD projects from concept to commercial launch
• Develop bakery products across multiple channels and formats
• Work closely with production, quality and commercial teams
• Support trials, scale‑up and factory launches
• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation pipelines

• Experienced NPD Technologist within bakery or food manufacturing
• Comfortable working end‑to‑end on product development
• Hands‑on, collaborative and commercially aware
• Looking to take on a senior role with real impact in a growing business
