CNC Turner

A skilled CNC Machinist is required for a permanent role at a manufacturing facility in Burnley. The position runs night shift (Mon‑Thurs 22:00‑07:30) and offers competitive pay with a night‑shift differential as well as a comprehensive benefits package.

Salary: £15.66 per hour with an additional £4.64 per hour for night shift (approximately £40,000 per year).

Hours:

Mon‑Thurs 22:00‑07:30.

Location:

Burnley.

• Set up tools and load materials onto the CNC machine.
• Carry out machining of components.
• Measure components produced on machines and use inspection equipment to ensure those components meet drawing dimensions and tolerances.
• Read, interpret and work from engineering drawings.
• Contribute in a team working environment.

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Manually handle weights up to 25 kg.
• Complete quality documentation.
• Use computer equipment for data purposes.
• Work to lean theory.
• Observe and practice the 5S principles.

• Time‑served CNC certification or equivalent.
• Experience working with stainless steels.
• Machine programming experience using Fanuc, Okuma or Mazak CNC controls.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
