The Role

Paint Sprayer required for Aerospace/Defence Company. Brand new capability introduced to site with state-of-the-art Mixing room, preparation room and paint booth (large wash/paint booth approx. 10m X 5m.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pre-paint preparation – hot wash, steam wash, cold wash, detergent wash, or Alocrom wash.
  • Masking of non-paint areas.
  • Spray painting using standard spray guns and bespoke equipment.
  • Working to strict process requirements
  • Measurement of coating thickness (tight tolerances to maintain)
  • Ensure traceability of paint process.
  • Create and maintain a team focused work environment.
  • Seek out, identify and participate in Continuous Improvement opportunities.
  • Responsible for general housekeeping and cleanliness of working area.
  • Maintain a team focused work environment
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures
  • Competent in Health & Safety
  • Support “Best Practices” to achieve company goals for safety, delivery, cost and quality.
  • In-house training will be provided.

Job Requirements

  • Spray painting to high standards (Previous Experience Not Required as Full Training will be given)
  • Working as part of a team to achieve site targets and maintenance requirements
  • Keeping job paperwork up to date
  • Maintaining a tidy work area

  • Previous experience in spray painting (Not Essential)
