Are you an experienced CNC Miller with experience setting and operating 3, 4 or 5 Axis machining centres? Do you have experience working within precision engineering, aerospace or defence manufacturing? This established precision engineering business manufactures high-quality components and assemblies for customers operating within highly regulated industries. Due to continued growth and investment, they are looking to strengthen their machining team with the addition of a CNC Machinist.

In this role, you will be responsible for setting and operating large CNC machining centres, producing precision components to tight tolerances whilst working from engineering drawings and technical specifications. You will carry out first-off inspections, support new product introduction and work closely with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes, quality and productivity.

The Role:

• Setting and operating 3, 4 and 5 Axis CNC milling machines
• Loading and editing CNC programmes using Heidenhain controls
• Manufacturing precision components to engineering drawings and technical specifications

The Person:

• CNC Miller with experience setting and operating CNC machining centres
• Experience with 3, 4 or 5 Axis machining
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Lives local or willing to commute to Burnley
