Are you interested in volunteering at the Canal and River Trust but don’t know where to start? Our Welcome Sessions are the perfect place to meet the local teams, talk to our volunteers, and see the range of activities you could get involved with. You can find an opportunity that best suits your interests, skills, availability and ability, whether that’s outside on the canals, at one of our attractions, or from the comfort of home.
Join us on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal in Rosegrove, Burnley between 10am - 12pm to explore what volunteering in the Trust could look like for you. We have operational teams available to talk about how volunteers support them and help keep the canals flowing and our Education Team will be able to give insight into how you can support us with engaging with schools.
There will be an opportunity to take part in some volunteering activity if you wish to do so.
