Quality Manager (Manufacturing – Defence)
Burnley, Lancashire
£50,000 - £60,000 + Progression + Training + 25 days holiday + Pension
OverviewAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Quality Manager to join a well‑established, growing engineering organisation where you will be leading a highly skilled team and encouraged to progress your career.
Responsibilities- Manage the quality team and ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO
9001 and MOD standards. - Act as the main point of contact for customer quality concerns.
- Lead audits and drive initiatives to reduce the cost of poor quality and improve product performance.
- Support new product introduction, lead root cause investigations, and work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain high standards across all operations.
- Experience as a Quality Manager or senior quality role within the MOD or defence sector.
- Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO
9001 and core quality tools (SPC, MSA, FAIR). - Proven leadership experience and ability to manage customer relationships.
- Local to Burnley, Lancashire or willing to commute.
£50,000 - £60,000 + Progression + Training + 25 days holiday + Pension
