Our client a precision engineering client based in Burnley are looking for a Junior Quality Engineer. This will have a view to become the Quality Manager within a 3 to 4 year plan.

In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers to inspect, test, and ensure our products meet the highest industry standards. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with quality management systems, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of engineering components and assemblies.

• Assist in conducting root-cause analysis (RCA) and implementing corrective actions (CAPA) for non-conformances.

• Help maintain, update, and audit quality management system (QMS) documentation (e.g., ISO 9001 standards).

• Collaborate with production and design teams to identify defect trends and prevent quality issues.
