Car Sales Executive - Burnley

Motorpoint, the UK’s leading omnichannel car retailer of nearly new cars, is looking for a dynamic Car Sales Executive to join our Burnley team. If you have a passion for cars, enjoy managing a detailed and service‑led process, and thrive in a fast‑paced energetic environment, this role may be ideal for you.

Role Overview

As a Sales Executive, you will help us shake off outdated industry clichés and lead our customers towards a first‑class buying experience. You will build rapport, identify customer needs, deliver appropriate vehicle recommendations, upsell relevant products and finance, and ensure a smooth handover process.

Key Details
  • Location: Burnley
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: 40 hours, 5 days out of 7 on a rota – weekend working required
  • Salary: £20,000 Basic (£40,000–£50,000 OTE uncapped)
Responsibilities
  • Meet, greet and build rapport with customers upon arrival
  • Deliver a no‑pressure sales service and identify customer needs
  • Provide face‑to‑face quotes on selected vehicles
  • Upsell relevant products and finance options
  • Complete the handover process with a high level of customer service
  • Liaise with key departments to ensure outstanding service and manage expectations
Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Proven track record of sales or excellent customer service
  • Experience in a sales environment or working to targets (beneficial)
  • Experience selling financial products (training provided)
  • Ability to establish rapport and build relationships quickly
  • Flexibility for weekend work
