You will support the young people service by participating in outreach, admin, mentoring and co-production events.
- Local outreach events, such as stalls at colleges and Pride events
- Interview panels
- Administration tasks to support the service
- Mentoring 10‑24 year olds
- Co‑production events, such as forums and groups at local and organisational levels
Rates are as follows:
- Under 18 years of age – £8.00 per hour
- Aged 18 to 20 – £10.85 per hour
- Aged 21 or over – £12.71 per hour
Essential Skills and Personal Qualities
- Collaborative, ethical, inspiring, resilient, self‑challenging – demonstrating our values of compassion, determination and professionalism
- Enthusiastic and keen to learn about working with vulnerable children and young people
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage a wide range of people
- Team player, able to support the service within a casual role
- 28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
