About the Opportunity Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring an Accounts Payable Analyst for a reputable company in Burnsville, MN. In this role, you'll support the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions while working closely with vendors and internal departments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys detail-oriented work, problem-solving, and contributing to a collaborative finance team.
What You'll Do as a Accounts Payable Analyst- Review, verify, classify, code, and record vendor invoices in the ERP system
- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in accordance with company policies
- Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documentation, and vendor invoices
- Reconcile vendor accounts and statements to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Research and respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account issues
- Prepare and maintain accounts payable records, documentation, and reports
- Communicate professionally with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment concerns
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate's degree in accounting, business, or a related field preferred
- Previous accounts payable, accounting, or administrative experience preferred
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record preferred
