As a Diagnostic Technician, you’ll not only diagnose vehicles but also mentor fellow technicians and coach our service professionals. Your role is vital in nurturing the integrity and transparency that our guests expect every time they invest in their vehicles. You’ll build trusting relationships through consistent, high-quality diagnoses and transparent education.

In this role, you will:

• Continuously enhance your technician experience across a diverse range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
• Utilize best-in-class resources provided by Christian Brothers Automotive.
• Collaborate with your team to troubleshoot and uncover the root causes of customer concerns.
• Communicate repair options transparently with our Service team.
• Uphold our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and shop organization.
• Work together to exceed customer expectations and deliver extraordinary results.
• Conduct thorough, accurate, and visually transparent digital vehicle inspections.
• Ensure every guest is treated with our “Love Your Neighbor As Yourself” level of respect.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
• A strong desire for problem-solving and long-term career development.
• Open to both full-time and part-time work availability.
• ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve them.
• Proficiency in Windows-based computers.
• A current driver’s license with a driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier.

• Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
• Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above your head.
• Comfortable working in tight spaces as needed for repairs.
• Dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
• Ability to walk/stand for the majority of your workday.
• Experience driving manual transmission vehicles.
• Efficiently navigate a computer.
