This isn’t your average marketing role. We’ve intentionally combined two high-impact disciplines—Brand Activation and Creative Production—into one powerhouse position designed for someone who thrives on juggling logistics, elevating brand experiences, and bringing creative projects to life.
You’ll be the glue between strategy and execution, overseeing the on-the-ground activation of our brand and building the structure for how we deliver both still and motion content. From the retail floor to the production studio, this role is a pivotal force in changing how we show up in the market.
If you're part creative wrangler, part operations ninja, and 100% passionate about making things happen—this role is for you. Your positive, professional, roll-up-your-sleeves-to-help attitude contributes to our winning culture and makes sure we leave a lasting impression.

- Track and analyze performance of activations and partnerships; recommend optimizations.
- Help manage budgets, timelines, and resources to keep programs within scope.
- Stay sharp on industry trends, consumer behavior, and new activation tech—we want ideas that push boundaries.
Creative Producer Responsibilities
- Must be highly proficient in both still and motion photography, with a strong understanding of file formats, asset archiving best practices, and related technologies to ensure efficient capture, organization, and delivery of final creative assets.
- Own the logistics and execution of all pre-pro through postproduction related to shoots (still and motion).
- Build and lead the intake and prioritization process for photo/video requests—ensuring requests are thorough, products are assembled, tested, and ready to roll prior to approving the request.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Merchants, Marketing, Creative) to deliver work that’s aligned, efficient, and on-brand.
- Maintain quality control of imagery, including color correction and compliance with brand standards.
- Help define and evolve our content production processes—bring structure where there’s chaos.
- Balance creative vision with real-world constraints (timeline, budget, product availability, etc.).
What you will bring to the table:
- Juggle multiple projects at once without dropping the ball.
- Build and manage timelines, resources, schedules, and budgets.
- Spot risks early and solve problems quickly.
- Keep stakeholders (internal and external) informed, aligned, and supported.
- Develop streamlined workflows that help everyone move faster, better, and smarter.
- Work closely with internal teams:
Creative, Marketing, Merchandising, Photo/Video, and Brand Partners. - Be a translator between creative minds and logistical execution.
- Communicate clearly, consistently, and respectfully—no one should ever wonder where a project stands. Firm and Fair will be your motto.
- Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs (gear, products, etc.).
- Able to stand and move throughout the day—this is a high-energy, hands-on role.
- Demonstrates Northern Tool + Equipment’s 12 Core Competencies.
