ESTIMATED PAY RANGE $70,000 - $86,000, DOE

PROJECT LOCATION Onsite in Burnsville, MN; transition to our Brooklyn Park, MN, office upon project completion (TBD)

JOB SUMMARY

As a Mechanical Design Engineer in Burnsville, MN, you may: design mechanical components and systems related to pad-mounted transformers; identify common patterns and features that can be restructured for design automation; map out interdependencies between components to streamline the design process from quote to order; ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, and work collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
  • A minimum of two years using Solidworks for 3D design
  • The ability to source components and work directly with vendors
  • Experience with power distribution and/or electrical equipment a plus
