Test Technician

Job Description

Responsibilities include building, designing, troubleshooting test hardware and solutions, and collaborating with the team.

• Build test hardware (cables, boxes, racks, etc.) and test solutions per engineering drawings.
• Create and review test system designs and documentation with engineering to meet customer requirements.
• Update documentation (drawings, schematics, BOM, classification) or provide markups of new and existing test hardware.
• Troubleshoot issues reported by operations and provide necessary repairs to solutions (cables, boxes, racks, etc.) in a timely manner.
• Work in a collaborative team environment and effectively communicate with engineers, operators, and technicians.

• Work as a team to solve difficult problems.
• Manage your time and work in an agile environment.
• Assembly full test solutions.

• Experience in building complex cable assemblies, test boxes, and assemblies of test systems.
• Knowledge in reading engineering schematics and wire lists.
• Experience with tooling, soldering, and crimping standards.
• Knowledge of Minnesota State Electrical codes and statutes.
• Good communication and mentorship skills.

HS Diploma/GED Required, Technical Degree would be nice; 3-4 years experience. Citizenship: U.S. Citizens.

Schedule:

M-F 7am-3:30pm (Pretty flexible — most people work 6am-2:30pm).
