Title:
Software Test Engineer
- Test manufacturing equipment and tools onsite in Burnsville, working 5 days a week.
- Design, code, test, integrate, and document product test software for aviation products.
- Design test hardware, including fixtures and circuit boards.
- Develop engineering estimates for complex tasks.
- Perform engineering requirements capture, analysis, and creation for complex designs.
- Lead test software design reviews and generate appropriate design documentation.
- Prepare and present project and technical information to peers, internal management, and customers.
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with minimum 3 years of experience, or 9 years of relevant experience in absence of a degree.
- Ability to obtain a US DoD Security Clearance.
- Experience in digital electronics, both hardware and software.
- Proficiency in VB6/VB .NET, C/C , and/or LabVIEW.
- Hands‑on experience with test fixtures.
- Experience with manufacturing test systems.
Skills & Qualifications
- Robotics background and RF skills.
- Proficiency in LabVIEW, test equipment, software testing, validation, and test procedures.
- Experience in EMI/EMC testing, electrical engineering, and test development.
- Knowledge of Visual Studio, Visual Basic, C#, and NI Testway for multi‑rack test stations.
This is a Contract position based out of Burnsville, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 – $65.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
