ARMHS Worker Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ARMHS Worker to join our team at Mindful Therapeutics Care, This role involves providing rehabilitative services to adults with mental health conditions, helping them develop skills to manage symptoms and improve their overall well‑being. The ARMHS Worker will work closely with clients to create individualized service plans, provide direct support, and assist with building coping skills, social relationships, and daily living skills.
Start date: 4/15/25 or later.
Duties
- Conduct assessments to determine client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide ongoing support to clients in areas such as daily living, social skills, and coping strategies.
- Engage clients in goal‑setting to encourage empowerment and recovery.
- Monitor and document client progress, updating service plans as needed.
- Provide education on mental health conditions, medications, and strategies for symptom management.
- Assist clients in accessing community resources, housing, and employment opportunities.
- Work with clients to reduce barriers to independent living and facilitate community integration.
- Advocate for clients in collaboration with other service providers, including healthcare professionals, social services, and family members.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date documentation in compliance with agency policies and state regulations.
- Attend regular supervision, team meetings, and training sessions to continue professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience working with individuals with persistent mental illness is highly desirable.
- Proficient in crisis intervention techniques and behavior management strategies.
- Familiarity with CBT Model is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in mental health practice.
Hours: Varies, Day shift, Evening shift, Weekend shift. Schedule with client.
Location: on the road, community, client’s house, or office.
