  • Partner with the Executive Pastor to translate vision into executable operational strategies and measurable ministry outcomes.
  • Lead long-range planning and resource alignment across departments to support Berean’s mission and annual goals.

  • Establish clear performance expectations, conduct regular reviews, and develop pathways for professional and spiritual growth.

  • Make data-informed, mission-aligned decisions in collaboration with leadership teams and ministry partners. Oversee compensation decisions using sound practices.
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately when evaluating trade-offs between ministry priorities, budget constraints, and staffing capacity.
  • Ensure decisions align with Berean’s core values, policies, and spiritual mission.
6. Risk Management
  • Oversee the development and enforcement of policies that promote safety, compliance, and responsible stewardship of church assets and facilities.
  • Lead crisis management planning and response for both predictable and unprecedented situations (e.g., public safety incidents, major facility failures, or financial irregularities).
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as denominational standards and ethical guidelines.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks
