Job Overview

Warehouse Quality Inspector First Shift at Ryder System, Inc. Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Quality Inspector in Burnsville, Minnesota. This role is key to ensuring quality and safety in our aerospace product handling.

Hourly Pay $22.00 per hour;
Overtime Pay $33.00 per hour.

Schedule:

First Shift Monday - Friday 5:00am - 1:30pm.

• Verify and monitor relevant finished packaging codes as it relates to specifications.
• Assist in effectively inspecting product for quality issues and removing defects/contaminants such as stones, wood, glass, plastic, etc., prior to packaging in accordance to specifications.
• Perform timely checks to meet specifications.
• Provide supervisors/managers with proper quality documentation as required.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety.
• Qualify to meet all standards required by FDA, USDA, etc.
• Ensure product quality to meet Customer, state and federal guidelines.
• Other duties as required or assigned.

• Associate’s Degree preferred.
• High school diploma required.
• Previous experience in a food grade facility.
• Experience with GMPs, FDA, USDA, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
