Team Member – Part-Time

Pay: $11.13 - $17.60/hr

Job Summary

The Team Member (TM) role supports all operational, front-end, freight, and merchandising processes and helps maintain an active selling culture by ensuring that all processes meet documented company standards designed to drive sales. Responsibilities include enthusiasm for vigorous lifting, carrying, moving around the store, and stocking.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive attitude, work with urgency, and execute company directives, policies, and procedures accurately and timely.
  • Contribute to a customer-focused environment by providing excellent customer service.
  • Perform cashier and front-end duties as assigned, ensuring transactions are accurate and efficient, enhancing the shopping experience.
  • Process freight, sort, and stock products according to store merchandising guidelines.
  • Perform store recovery, conditioning, and housekeeping tasks inside and outside the store.
  • Complete daily and weekly tasks efficiently and on time.
  • Participate in areas of customer satisfaction, inventory control, safety, and loss prevention to ensure effective and profitable store operations.
  • Perform other duties as needed based on business requirements.
  • Open availability required.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • At least 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills for clear communication.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs or team lift 100 lbs.
  • Proficient in using hands to handle objects or controls; able to reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to bend, climb, and reach as needed.
  • Effective working independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail in standards, processes, and marketing.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and ethical role model.
  • Flexible and creative, capable of handling multiple tasks with shifting priorities.
