MSI Metro Sales Inc. is seeking an Employee-Owner, Sales Consultant for our Production Print team in our Burnsville headquarters. This role combines technical expertise with consultative selling to deliver tailored solutions that meet our customer needs.

What You Will Do

The driven sales professional will position our high-volume production print equipment, the full suite of print software and Professional Services (workflow solutions) to align our solutions to the clients needs. The Sales consultant will sell into accounts consisting of both medium and large commercial print, direct mail, and other industries. The specialist will collaborate with internal and external clients to ensure successful implementation and long-term satisfaction.

New

Business Development
  • Spearhead MSI’s penetration and expansion through identification and pursuit of new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain territory through:
    • Acquisition and grow client base by selling incremental solutions and services.
    • Align customers business goals and objectives with MSI’s Solutions portfolio including both hardware and services.
  • Meet or exceed gross profit margins.
Consultative Solutions and Strategy
  • Identify, build, and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Conduct needs assessments and recommend appropriate hardware/software solutions to qualified prospects.
  • Develop a strategy that includes customer segmentation, customer awareness activities and establishing customer relationships.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and ROI analyses.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
Collaboration
  • Partner with marketing and product teams to align messaging and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with service and technical teams to ensure solution feasibility.
  • Support the Sales Organization in the production print needs of their current clients.
Support
  • Supports strategies, products, and equipment.
  • Provide pre-sale support and ensure smooth onboarding and integration.
  • Address customer inquiries related to product performance, quality, and service.
  • Serve as primary contact through the sales and documentation process.
  • Maintains records of all account activity within the CRM.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum High school Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Five (5) years B2B sales experience + 2 years of advanced selling solutions. Or Minimum of two (2) years Digital Printing and Solutions sales experience.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
  • Clean Driving Record.
  • Valid Drivers license.
  • Reliable Vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or similar field of study from an accredited University.
  • 5-7 years successful track record in capital equipment sales in the Digital Printing Solutions and/or Graphic Communications Industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital printing systems, finishing equipment and workflow automation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
