Job Description

The Head of Aftermarket Product & Growth Strategy will hold the leadership role responsible for designing and executing forward‑thinking growth strategies that deliver sustainable, profitable growth for both Finning and Caterpillar. Through strong portfolio leadership, data‑driven insight, and cross‑functional collaboration, you will drive the development of differentiated value propositions, embed new commercial models, and accelerate market adoption of aftermarket programs.

This is a great opportunity to influence long‑term strategic direction, lead a high‑performing team, and act as a key catalyst for business growth and strengthened OEM partnership performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing Aftermarket Product Management team.
  • Shape product and portfolio strategy with a focus on CAT Yellow commodities.
  • Deliver profitable sales growth through strong commercial planning and GTM execution.
  • Use market, customer and competitor insight to drive innovation and commercial decisions.
  • Own pricing strategy and support long‑term portfolio growth plans.
  • Build strong relationships with senior Caterpillar and internal stakeholders to align on product support and strategic priorities.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • 7+ years’ experience in the heavy equipment industry.
  • Proven senior sales leadership.
  • Background in product, portfolio or strategic management.
  • Strong understanding of aftermarket commodities, parts life cycles and value‑based solution development.
  • Solid understanding of OEM–dealer dynamics, particularly incentive structures and product support frameworks.
  • Experience working with Caterpillar machines or engines (advantageous).
  • Strong commercial acumen and expertise in pricing, GTM strategy and aftermarket solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder, analytical and leadership skills.
  • Degree or equivalent professional experience.
