Position: Cleaner (x2 vacancies) - Erasmus Darwin Academy

CLEANER (x2 Vacancies)

Start Date:

Monday 23rd March 2026

Contract:

10 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 3:30pm-5:30pm, Permanent, Term time plus 19 days.

Salary:
Grade 1 (Whole year salary: £24,413) Actual Salary: approx. £6,109-£6,305 depending on years’ service.

Why You?

We welcome applications from effective and enthusiastic specialists to join our Associate Professionals in the role of Cleaner. The site team is a key part of the Academy. The team comprises of a Premises Supervisor, Cleaning Supervisor, a Caretaking team and a number of Cleaners.

Celebrating Our Success

Our 2023 Ofsted inspection rated us ‘Good’, and we have held Category 1 status (the highest level of school performance) for six consecutive years. Inspectors praised our high expectations, exceptional personal development offer, strong safeguarding culture, and the positive relationships between leaders and staff. Notably, 100% of staff completing the Ofsted questionnaire said they were happy working at EDA.
