We are seeking a skilled Design & Build Mechanical Estimator to prepare accurate tenders and cost plans for mechanical building services projects. This role involves working closely with clients, suppliers, and internal design teams to deliver competitive, compliant, and innovative bids across a range of commercial projects.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical design & build projects.
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing.
• Support value engineering initiatives to deliver cost‑effective solutions.
• Collaborate with internal design teams to ensure efficiency and buildability.
• Compile and submit tender documentation within deadlines.
• Maintain strong knowledge of market rates, materials, and industry trends.
• Assist with handover to project delivery teams.

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator in the building services sector.
• Strong background in design & build project estimating.
• Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills.
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team.
