Full time, permanent, hybrid with 1 day a week in our Burntwood head office Salary: £50,000-£55,000 DOE About the Role Busy Bees Group, a leading global childcare and early years education provider, is expanding rapidly in the UK. We are looking for a UK Financial Reporting Manager to strengthen our finance team and support compliance with IFRS and FRS 102 reporting standards, oversee UK management reporting, manage UK and Group statutory accounts, and ensure robust UK internal controls.

Reporting to the UK Financial Controller, this role works closely with senior finance colleagues across the UK and Group, including the Group Finance Director, Group Accountant, European CFO, and Group CFO. The role also provides exposure to senior non‑finance stakeholders and the opportunity to contribute to key UK and Group strategic projects. • Assist in completing the Group’s IFRS year‑end statutory accounts and subsidiary FRS 102 accounts
• Prepare IFRS accounting papers and support analyses, particularly around impairment and acquisition accounting for the UK business
• Support the Group Accountant with UK and Group year‑end audits, ensuring efficiency and compliance with timetables
• Prepare and review UK monthly management information
• Maintain compliance with key financial controls within the Group framework
• Respond to internal audit requests and ensure adherence to the UK internal audit framework
• Provide guidance and support to the UK Management Accounts team
• Undertake special projects as required

• ACA or ACCA qualified, with experience in IFRS accounting and consolidation and FRS 102
• Experience reviewing or implementing financial controls
• Previous experience in industry is a plus but not essential
• Strong adaptability and willingness to learn
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced and pressurised environment
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
