Nelson Recruitment Services are excited to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Electrical Compliance Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled electrical professional who has a strong understanding of compliance, inspection, testing, and electrical safety standards.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring electrical systems, installations, and maintenance activities remain compliant with current legislation and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical regulations and standards.
- Conduct electrical inspections, audits, and compliance assessments.
- Review maintenance records, certification, and technical documentation.
- Identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
- Provide technical support and guidance on electrical safety matters.
- Support risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- Liaise with contractors, engineers, and site management teams.
- Produce detailed reports and maintain accurate compliance records.
- Assist in the development and continuous improvement of compliance procedures.
- Qualified Electrical Engineer or Time-Served Electrician.
- Strong working knowledge of current electrical regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience carrying out inspections, testing, and audits.
- Excellent understanding of electrical safety practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
- Previous experience within industrial, manufacturing, commercial, or utility sectors.
